David is a Medical Orthotist and Prosthetist with a special interest in lower limb biomechanics and sports injuries. His practice is based at Waterfall Sports Orthopaedic Surgery in Waterfall City Hospital, Midrand.

He qualified as an Orthotist and Prosthetist from Pretoria Technikon (now Tshwane University of Technology) in 2003. After graduating, he worked in London where he re-qualified and spent four years with Tyco Healthcare and then Trulife as an Orthotist, running clinics for the National Health Service (NHS) in and around London.

In 2010, David completed his Honours degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Tshwane University of Technology, and in 2011 he opened his own practice at Waterfall City Hospital, where he continues to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Outside of work, David enjoys exercise, reading and mountain biking.
